Organic ColorGrown Prefold Diapers

This beautiful colorgrown organic cotton is from Sinkiang where no pests can stand for the extreme weather conditions. There is a famous saying about the large day/night temperature difference in the Sinkiang region: "Enjoying the delicious watermelon while gathering around the oven (heater) on a summer night."

Wild, native cotton has always given us these beautiful, healing colors, naturally. Subtle, earthy browns, greens, and unbleached whites are the colors of the earth itself. They are reflected all around us in nature. These natural colors compliment our natural human colors and look great on everybody. Simple designs and colors allow the child's own beauty and light to shine outward and be noticed.

Please note: The natural oils on the colorgrown diapers take a super-long time to remove (compared to bleached/processed or even unbleached white diapers). For some, it's somewhere between 10 and 20 washes before they'll start absorbing, and then over time they absorb more and more (making great night-time diapers because eventually they absorb even more than white/natural color). Some prefer to boil their colorgrowns on the stove for 10-15min to help them absorb a little more quickly, or some people like to throw them in with the regular clothing laundry for the next 10-20 times they wash their clothes (to avoid using up so much water washing them by themselves).

Organic colorgrown diapers are 100% pure and soft, certified organically grown, and free of bleach and dyes.
An added benefit is that they hide stains very well too! This is the birdseye weave...

Prefold Toddler 17.5"x23" 4x8x4 100% organic colorgrown cotton (dark brown)

The Infant is a smaller size prefold generally used for babies up to 6 months old, but Jenny uses them even for her skinny 3-yr old, even though the rise is too low (it's cheap and easy so that minor problem doesn't bother her). She added a snap at the back two corners and then two-three snap settings on the front. Here is a photo on her 21.5 lb one-year old:

The larger Premium size prefold is generally folded down in the front to add more absorbency in the frontal wet-zone. A bigger diaper it will have more absorbency than the Infant diapers. When you put the diaper on, pull the sides inward in the middle to form a pocket, they do amazingly well with containing even runny messes.
