Llamajama wool diaper covers and sweaters are hand knit from natural, undyed Alpaca and Peruvian sheep's wool. These products are buttery soft to caress baby's delicate skin and yet are strong, durable and virtually pill proof. All Llamajama products reflect the company's philosophy to protect the environment and its people. Llamajama products are handknit by women whose livelihoods have been threatened by unfair competition from richer countries. About Llamajama Yarn

This yarn is a mixture of alpaca and sheep's wool. Alpaca is a buttery soft, incredibly strong, virtually pill proof fiber. It is mixed with sheep’s wool to increase the elasticity and the absorbency of our garments. This yarn is completely natural, no synthetic dyes or chemical baths are used in the processing of Llamajama products. The natural cider color is gender neutral and will coordinate with any outfit. Made in beautiful tan natural color, these shorties are so soft.

Merino Wool Soakers, Shorties & Longies

Soakers

These adorable soakers are hand knit in Peruvian merino wool. They have an internal drawstring which keeps curious fingers from taking their soaker off. This super soft merino wool yarn is great for day or night use! They provide amazing leak protection - especially over night. When paired with an absorbent cloth diaper your wool will keep your baby swaddled and warm while keeping the sheets dry until the morning. This is a very soft and spongy wool that absorbs an amazing amount of liquid.In warm or hot weather soakers can be worn with a t-shirt or dress. Wool covers are the coolest and most breathable cloth diaper cover. In the cooler weather they can be worn under clothes or jammies so you can expect to get a lot of wear out of your soakers!

We want it to be easy to choose your child's longies so we size our clothes based on standard children's sizes. All of our clothes are designed to allow room for growth so for the best fit we don't recommend sizing up.

Measurement guide:

Inseam: The inseam measurement determines how long the pants are. To measure your child's inseam, measure a pair of well fitting pants from the crotch to the bottom of the pant. Or, measure the child (with diaper on) from the crotch to the top of foot.

Rise: The rise tells you how high on the waist the pants will fit. You measure the inseam by measuring from the top of the diaper (near the belly button), through the crotch and around the back to the top of the back of the diaper. Our longies are designed to be high waisted to completely cover the average cloth diaper. If your child will not be wearing their longies as a cloth diaper cover you will appreciate the high waist as it keeps their back and tummy covered.

Waist/hips: Our longies have lots of stretch and come with an adjustable drawstring waistband.

Height/weight: The height and weight measurements given are based on average sizes. Since all children are build differently this is meant to be a helpful guide for choosing your child's size.
