For care and use, click here. Boggled by all the choices? Start by asking yourself some questions:

How important is minimizing bulk? Obviously the thinner and trimmer the better, but how important is this compared to other features?

What style pad do you want? All-in-one (AIO) pads are most convenient but pads that separate will be easier to clean more thoroughly and dry quicker. Pads with inserts on top of holders can help with frequent insert changes for maximal freshness, pads with inserts inside the holder need a new holder with every pad change. Wingless pads are trimmer (without the bulk of the wings) and many find them more comfortable.

Do I want a stay-dry fleece topped pad? Some prefer pads with fleece topping to feel dry, others prefer to have natural fibers only for comfort.

What material do you want for the absorbent part? Hemp/cotton blend is a very absorbent material with natural antimicrobial resistance. Microterry is a very absorbent synthetic material. Cotton flannel is very soft and organic cotton is even softer and purest. Organic Cotton Velour is the softest.

Do I need a waterproof liner or not? Those with heavier flow generally prefer the security of having a waterproof liner. Those with lighter flow prefer the breathability of no waterproof liner. A nice compromise is a fleece or wool breathable liner that protects your panties but still breaths.

Happy Tushies Momma Pad Bags

Finally! Momma pad bags made with the same nifty zipper technology as the diaper wet bags! Big enough to hold a whole day's worth of pads and no worries about where to put the dirty ones. It is even big enough for extra long overnight pads. There are zippers on both sides and are separated in the middle. They snap together with a handy color-coordinated nylon snap. Both sides are PUL (waterproof) lined... for storage of soiled pads. But, the two zippers allow you to put the clean pads in one side when you start out and still have a separate compartment for the soiled ones. They measure about 7"x10" folded. This size will accommodate plenty of pads from liners all the way up to post-partum size.
